My
name is Jeramy Nearhood. I am the sole proprietor of
JLN Educational Services. This is a small
business started in 2004 to help central PA EMS providers
obtain re-certification requirements through continuing
education classes. As 2005 approached, a need for
CPR/AED courses was addressed and CPR/AED courses were offered
through the American Heart Association. In 2006, I added the
service of Heartsaver First Aid courses through the American
Heart Association. As of July 9th, 2008, JLN
Educational Services is a recognized training center and
sponsor site through the PA Department of Health.
JLN Educational Services
was awarded sponsor # 03-0403. All continuing
education classes are registered through this number unless
otherwise directed. All services are offered to EMS
Healthcare Providers, but as well as there are community
courses offered.
I have
been an EMT since 2001 and have been active either paid full
time or part time and volunteer. Currently, I work
full time for an EMS company in Perry County and part time
for an EMS company in Cumberland County.
I have been an EMT Instructor since 2004, CPR/AED Instructor
since 2005, and First Aid Instructor since 2006. I
have experience in the pre-hospital setting and hospital
setting as I used to work full time in a local emergency
room.
