My name is Jeramy Nearhood. I am the sole proprietor of JLN Educational Services. This is a small business started in 2004 to help central PA EMS providers obtain re-certification requirements through continuing education classes. As 2005 approached, a need for CPR/AED was addressed and CPR/AED classes were offered through the American Heart Association. 2006 added the service of Heartsaver
First Aid classes through the American Heart Association.
As of July 9th, 2008, JLN
Educational Services is a recognized training
center and sponsor site through the PA Department of Health.
JLN Educational Services
was awarded sponsor # 03-0403. All continuing
education classes are registered through this number unless
otherwise directed. All services are offered to EMS Healthcare Providers, but as well as there are community courses offered.
I have been an EMT since 2001 and have been active either paid full time or part time and volunteer. Currently, I volunteer with
1 EMS organization and I am the EMS Coordinator of another
EMS organization in Perry County. I have been an EMT Instructor since 2004, CPR/AED Instructor since 2005, and First Aid Instructor since 2006. I have experience in the pre-hospital setting and
hospital setting as I used to work full time in a local
emergency room.
